Applications to become our 3rd Everyday Adventurer now being accepted

We’re now accepting applications to become our 3rd Everyday Adventurer.

If you want to be on our website alongside our world class athletes, telling your adventures to the world nows your chance. We’re opening up the Berghaus blog to our community and are looking for ‘Everyday Adventurers’ to become guest bloggers on our site.

This month is the final month of our multi-day backpacking theme and we’ll have new themes throughout the year to make sure we get adventurers of every type.

To help you on your adventures we’ll give you an Olympus TG-620 camera. Designed with outdoor adventurers in mind the Olympus TOUGH range uses new iHS (Intelligence, High Sensitivity and High Speed) technology to make it possible to capture excellent images and full HD movies despite the lousy conditions outdoor lovers and extreme sports junkies often have to contend with. The TG-620 is waterproof to 5m, shockproof from 1.5m and will likewise survive a night on the piste at -10°C. It’s also packed full of clever features to make it easier to get amazing action shots in the great outdoors.

You can find out more about the Olympus TG-620 here.

We’ll also give you one of our new BIOFLEX® rucksacks.  New for SS12 and part of the MtnHaus range of innovative products the BIOFLEX® has been redeveloped to give enhanced performance and improved load transfer, helping you walk further for longer.

You can find out more about the BIOFLEX® in our great video:

If you’re interested in becoming an Everyday Adventurer and want to apply you can email us at enquiries@berghaus.com and in no more than 100 words, with an accompanying picture, explain why you should be chosen as an Everyday Adventurer blogger.  Alternatively send us a link to a video, that is no more than 1 minute long.

We’ll pick our favourite application for this round on 10th April 2012.

You can read full Terms and conditions here.

I’ve no imminent plans to emulate Leo Houlding & scale El Capitan in 2012 but I do posess frequently bitten fingernails short enough for attempting free-climbing & other such courageous/badly thought through challenges. The next 12 months see me attempt a 100km London2Brighton run, a round Jersey 48mile Ultra in July & in 2013 the Marathon des Sables. Winter has found me pounding the canal-paths & North Downs near my home of Godalming, the Brecon Beacons & the Congo, equipped with a rucksack, camera for those gorgeous moments you feel like you’re the only one there to witness & jelly beans.
