Today I am proud! What achievement in life could you say this about…

Angelika Rainer – World Champion Ice Climber

Winning 3 Ice Climbing World Championships, doing the first female ascent of Via Italia 61, 250 meters, 8a Dolomites and repeating Clash of the Titans at Helmcken Falls, Canada. These are very different achievements in different climbing disciplines and it makes me very happy to have been able to get accomplishments in so varied climbing styles.

Steve Birkinshaw – Veteran Mountain Runner

Setting a record time for completing all the 214 Wainwright fells in the Lake District. Also having a lovely family with a brilliant wife and three happy children

2014 Wainwrights record attempt starts

Mick Fowler – An award-winning British mountaineer and author

Somehow balancing the demands of family, work and climbing.

Sam Hamer – Ambitious Rock Climber

Climbing Strawberries (E7) at Tremadog last summer! For me its one of my best achievements in my climbing career having read about it and seen so many photographs of it for years. Its always inspired me an a sensational line high up at a beautiful cliff in North Wales, with loads of air below you and some of the best moves you could ever do o a rock climb and thankfully very well protected!

Molly Thompson Smith – Climber and youngest member of the Berghaus team

I think I’m most proud of winning my first (and only so far) European Youth Cup in 2014. I really didn’t feel prepared for that competition at all – I was and had been ill for a while, and I was in the middle of exams. To everyone’s surprise I managed to steal a win!
